Total Money Disbursed to the Community

Maui Pono Foundation has distributed more than $2.3 million in direct support, including individual cash grants to help families rebuild and recover, scholarships for graduating high school students, funding for Lahaina small businesses reopening after the fires, and grants to local organizations supporting long-term community recovery and well-being.
Investing In Our Youth
In May 2026, we awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 15 outstanding high school seniors from Maui. These students are set to embark on their college journeys this fall, and we are so proud of their achievements.

PC: Fuzz Box Productions
Supporting Small Businesses
In April 2026, we awarded $10,000 to Fuzz Box Productions to support the continuation and expansion of their film camp. This camp provides hands on learning in digital media and filmmaking for high school students in our community.
Learning, Exploration & Connection
In December 2025, we awarded $41,250 to Pacific Whale Foundation to help fund their 2026 Keiki Whalewatch and Ocean Camp programs. These programs provide a fun and safe space for Maui's youth to learn and connect.
